Migration Intermediaries and the Migration of Health Professionals from the Global South

This chapter examines the role played by migration intermediaries in the global movement of health professionals. It provides a descriptive account of the operation of migration intermediaries, particularly those that connect professionals from the Global South with the Global North. In addition, it shows how the implementation of the various codes of practice have forced migration intermediaries to reorganize their operations in an effort to comply with the new migration governance system.
